James ‘Jamie’ N. Lopiccolo, CPA, CGMA

Founder and Managing Member

Jamie is the proud founder and managing member of the CPA firm, Capocore Professional Advisors, located in downtown Lake Orion, MI. Jamie leads the firm’s advisory practice providing a proactive approach to serving the firm’s business and individual clients. By leveraging the use of technology and cloud computing he is able to keep the firm competitive and relevant to the changing business environment.

In his over 35+ years of public accounting experience, Jamie has worked in the areas of business advisory, tax and accounting for a multitude of industries including, contracting, manufacturing, medical, professional service companies and real estate.

Regina Nock, CPA

Principle

As of January 2021, Regina Nock, with over 20 years of professional experience, has merged her practice, Nock Accounting & Tax, PLC, with Capocore Professional Advisors and assumed the position of Principal at the firm. She manages the client accounting services area of the practice along with performing tax engagements and providing business advisory services.  Her background includes work in both the public and private sectors and spans a variety of industries in roles ranging from staff accountant to controller.  

In her free time (outside of tax season, of course), she enjoys genealogy, gardening, cooking, riding her motorcycle, and traveling about the United States.

Megan Kelly

Office Manager

Megan has been a valued member of the Capocore team since 2021, serving as our Office Manager. Her expertise in Higher Education Administration, combined with a degree in Technological Sciences focused on data management, has been instrumental in enhancing our administrative operations and advancing Capocore’s mission. Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending quality time with her husband, seven children, and two dogs in Caseville, where they engage in various outdoor activities, including camping and kayaking.

Alexis Lopiccolo

Marketing & Graphic Designer

Alexis serves as the Marketing Graphic Designer at Capocore, concurrently pursuing a position as a Junior Bookkeeper within the firm. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media and brings years of customer service experience to her role. Passionate about expanding her expertise in accounting, Alexis is eager to develop her skills further. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys camping, attending live shows, and spending quality time with her pets.
